How to Print the Calendar in Other Browsers
It is important to know that there are variations with printing options depending on the different versions of the web browsers described below. Google Chrome, Safari and Opera have similar options for printing, but they also vary. Follow the steps below to print a calendar from timeanddate.com using different browsers.
You can print pages on Google Chrome by using the CTRL & P buttons, or clicking on the rectangular icon, representing page with a fold in the right corner, and selecting Print. A dialog box will open and will show the following options:
Select Printer (printer you want to select).
Preferences.
Page Range (eg. number of pages).
Number of copies.
You can select any of these options before clicking on Print in the dialog box.
Printing with Safari
Click on the File menu.
Select Print.
You can also go to File, choose Page Setup, and select the options you want to use, and then click OK.
To print the background image or to print information about the webpage in headers and footers, choose Safari from the Copies & Pages pop-up menu.
You can also create a PDF of the webpage using the Print dialog.
Printing with Opera
Click on the File menu.
Select Print.
You can also select Print Options to check paper and orientation options, as well as Print Preview to preview the document you intend to print. A dialog box will appear with the following options:
Select Printer (printer you want to select).
Preferences.
Page Range (eg. number of pages).
Number of copies.
You can select any of these options before clicking on Print in the dialog box.
Printing with Lynx
Rendered HTML documents and plain text files can be printed by typing "P" to see the print menu (assuming that a printer is already installed). Printing involves either saving the file or sending it as email, depending on one’s version of Lynx.
A Print Options menu will be shown, but may vary for different reasons. In most configurations, all Lynx users can print the files to the screen.
More Print Options are available for those who use Lynx from their own accounts.
Lynx does not save cookies between sessions by default but the setting can be changed by typing:
sed -i 's/#\(PERSISTENT_COOKIES\):FALSE/\1:TRUE/' /etc/lynx/lynx.cfg
