A large crowd turned out to watch this eclipse at Science North in Sudbury, Ontario. Our streaming partner Olathe MacIntyre—a staff scientist at the museum's Space Place and Planetarium—took this photo as the eclipsed Sun rose over the horizon.

Last location in the world to see partial eclipse end
 

For the past half hour or so, the Moon's penumbral shadow has been getting smaller and smaller on the globe. One of the last places to experience a partial eclipse today is Hami, a city in Northwest China famous for Hami melons.
